The Story
Ten years as a game warden in the remote Appalachian Mountains of Upper East Tennessee chasing dastardly deed doers during all seasons. The coldest of winter days following bear hunters and their hounds atop mile high mountains. Springtime trout fishermen and fisherwomen breaking the rules tested my hiding abilities alongside pristine streams to apprehend violators. Summertime was mostly spent on area lakes chasing boaters. In the fall things got interesting. The use of mechanical deer to catch road hunters, looking for bait piles that attract deer, turkey and bear, all in a day's work.
